Sudden bout of nausea

I'm 11 days post-op and have done remarkably well until today. I did a short test at driving this morning with no problem. This afternoon I rode and dd drove herself to gymnastics practice. I hadnt gone more than a mile toward home when I started feeling nauseous. It was (and still is) a bit hard to keep my eyes focused. I had the sensation that I was either going to burp or vomit but wasn't sure which. Thankfully it was the former. The worst of it lasted about 30 minutes. Since it was after 4:00 I had to leave a message on the dr's answering machine.

Anyone have a similar experience?

Yes. I felt great at one week, so on day 8 my mom took me shopping...I was real careful, she even dropped me off at the entrance & carried my items for me. Then we went to lunch & I had a wave of nausea come over me...ugh. We ended up having them pack up my food & she took me home. I changed clothes & climbed right in bed. That was on a Tuesday & I had nausea off & on until Saturday. I called the doc on Friday & he said it was the increased activity (after asking me a lot of questions) & when I felt nauseated to lie down. Even on Sunday morning I felt sick, but magically on Monday morning, MUCH better. (That was my 2 week mark) & first time driving. Anyway, I am 3 weeks today & feel great. I guess it also has to do with our "parts" adjusting to their new homes. Everything gets shifted around...hang in there!
