No bleeding during period

I read this message board and see everyone talking about how heavy their periods are. I've been on Loestrin to control my periods. Even on Loestrin, they are very irregular in terms of bleeding -- how much and how long. I had all the PMS symptoms of my period when I was suppose to get it in December but never had any flow. Has this happened to anyone? I am scheduled for the TAH on 2/4 -- only 1 more period to go -- YEA!!!!!

I was on the BC pill right up until my TVH....actually took it every day without stopping for months....sometimes two pills a day to keep me from having a period. But sad to say it didn't work at times....still had bleeding and spotting....gosh once I had a flash flood with clots...sorry so graphic....I took them until the night before surgery and it was such a pleasure to toss the unfinished pack away when I got home from the castle....
And today I threw away all my coupons for tampons and pads!!! Same great satisfaction I got with giving the surplus away too....Good riddance to periods!!!!!

Dried up following a d & c to treat an incomplete miscarriage and all I needed was a panti-liner most of the time, just for a few hours. A tampon was overkill. I think part of it was hormonal imbalance and part was too vigorous scraping during that d and c. Lining problems big time with infertility treatment. Chinese herbs did increase flow nominally. The less profuse endometrium did not spare me one bit from PMS and extreme cramping, boo hiss!

In February of this year, I started depo provera shots to shut down my cycle and no bleeding at all since then, When it was nearing time for another injection, the PMS and cramps would reappear.

I don't think anyone can take my specific circumstances and use it to compare. My case is way odd.
