Gas Pains

Tea sounds good. I drank 7 up. I may have also pulled a muscle (ouch) accoridng to the doctor. I currently have a UTI and having an iodine xray done due to leaking and back pain and I am at 5 weeks now but no more gas pains and my belly is doing better. I had the gas pains at two weeks too. Mine lasted for 1 whole day and the next day my belly wasn't quite as swollen. Hope you are feeling a little better now.

Gas Pains

The gas pains were truly the worst part of my surgery. I walked the floors (alot), took gas-x regularly and drank a lake full of water. I think mostly they just have to have time. Mine got better everyday, and I sure hope yours do too! Emily

Gas Pains

Hey there, for my gas pains, I used a warm heating pad, drank hot tea, and walked slowly about the house. It will not last forever.
NOw if I could quit leaking pink stuff and having odd pelvic pains. Take care, Linda

Me too

isn't it awful? I was doing fine until almost three weeks, and then it seemed to start all over again! But a helpful sister on this site suggested Gas X and I tried it and it really worked!! After about one day it was much better. I am still a bit bloated, but at least not in so much pain. Good Luck to you!

Gas Pains

Hello,

I might beable to help you with the groin pain. My sister who is an RN told me to get an icepack and also my heating pad and by alternating them between your inner thigh will help.

Gas Pains

I am 6 days post op and today was the WORST for gas pains. Absolutely awful. I walked around a lot tonight and that helped. Drinking lots of water helped too, I think. I am taking gas x also.
