vaginal prolapse following hysterectomy
Has anyone had a vaginal prolapse following hysterectomy for uterine prolapse. Just had my hysterectomy (TAH) two weeks ago and I now have a vaginal prolapse. Returning to doctor in a few days.

Sort of. I had another cystocele reform after the doctor repaired one during surgery just 5 1/2 weeks ago.

How did you know you had the vaginal prolapse......what were the symptoms? I have had times where it felt like things were going to fall out.

Going into fifth week....having feelings of pressure in abdomen like a watermelon is ready to fall (???)
Not sure if it's the healing process or what.
I noticed, using a mirror, that I can see the cuff....don't think this is normal....I will be seeing my DR at 6 wks.
Anybody? please respond...
