8 weeks post DVH and feeling great...

As I sit here cleaning out my office after a morning of shopping for new flooring I realized it has been 8 weeks. I remember wondering if I would ever pass gas or have a bowel movement without horrific pain, worrying and daily planning and just wanted to offer up hope that YES, yes you will! Sex is great and all is well. I had two small plastic clips fall out of me that the gyn said were simply clips that are used to hold the outter edges of a suture line together. Other than that = no complications.

I DO every now and then get tired but I'm pretty much back in full swing again. I kind of wistfully miss those first few weeks after surgery when no one expected me to cook dinner, clean and run a gazillion errands!

This is good to know because i'm just a week post lavh and these bm's are killing me. Thanks for the encouragement.

I am almost 10 weeks post op from dVH-BSO and I feel the same. Everything is back to normal.
