Laparoscopic hysterectomy scheduled 5/7

Met with my dr today, and he recommended a lapar hysterectomy to remove some rather large fibroids. I am post-menopausal, so he plan to take everything. I'm ok with this, but want to know what the post-op is like - he says no problem, but I talked to one woman who said it took about 6 weeks to get back to normal. I also have ms (recently diagnosed), and wonder if anyone has info on how that affects the recovery,etc. I think I'll get better info from people who have been there than from the dr.
Anything will be appreciated.

While I have no experience regarding MS and how it affects this surgery, I can say that you should expect at least a minimum of 6 weeks for recovery.

Thanks for the info! I suspect that the healing process might be longer because of the ms, but I don't know for sure. I hope I won't be a pest, but I think more questions will arise as time goes on and I read more and think about more stuff.
