LAVH: Binder

For those who have had a Da Vinci hyst. Did you use an Abdominal binder? Did you find it helpful?

I had a davinci asst. vaginal about 5 weeks ago. I used a binder for about 2 weeks. It helped relieve the heaviness feeling a bunch. I never had to use the ice packs personally, but had them just in case.

THanks So great to know this. My doc offered my one..but said that not all people need them especially with DaVinci. I think I will get it just to be safe.

No problem! I ordered the one from on here (wasn't offered one) to have just in case. Wound up getting one put on me at the hospital, so now have two.

I didn't have the da vinci, I had a TVH. There was no way I would have been able to use a binder. My tummy was so sore I could hardly touch it.
