LSH: Glancing at Gallbladder and Appendix?

Hi Ladies,

Do you think it's reasonable to ask my surgeon the day of if he can take a look and a pic of my gallbladder and appendix? I've had some suspicious symptoms indicating potential issues with both and although no direct need to have them removed, it seems like a great opportunity to at least take a look.

I haven't brought it up prior as it's just occurring to me now and surgery is Friday.

As long as they're gonna be poking around in there, couldn't hurt to ask... I do not have a good enough grasp on the anatomy involved to say if that would be convenient and advisable or not, but there's certainly no harm in bringing it up.

They should be able to look at them. My doc was going to remove a tumor off my ovary and looked at my appendix first and found it to be enlarged and "leaking" so she had to remove my appendix and then 2 months later I had to have a total hysterectomy because the tumor was a fast spreading one and I had numerous tumors throughout my " girl parts".
