Air from down there?

I'm 5 weeks out and just saw my Dr. she told me every thing looked good and I was healing very well and could start running again, now, I have already been walking up to 2 miles so when she cleared me, the very next day I walked 2 1/4 mile then ran 1/2 mile and finished with a 1/4 mile, but something WEIRD happened later on that night, after sitting for a light dinner I got up and air came out of my Vagina, not just a little either! Was it passing gas? It kept happening several times and it was nothing I've ever felt before, it didn't hurt and there never was pain or discharge just Air. I've had sex (long time ago)where just a tiny puff came out but NEVER this much, has this happen to anyone else? I've been given the ok for sex BUT...... I think I'll hold off for now.

You can do a site and internet search for "queefing" and see if this is what you are experiencing. You can also call your doctor and ask if everything is okay!

I have had air coming out of my vagina too, very weird feeling.

I do think you should check with your Dr. I am a runner too. I have been running actively now for about 3 months and I have not had that issue. I had 2 surgeries - a TVH in Nov and an abdominal surgery for tubes, ovaries and appendix in Feb. I ran a little in between the two also and still did not experience that.

It would probably just put your mind more at ease if you checked with him. The only other thing I can think of is maybe if cleared by your Dr first - start doing lots of kegels. They do have to stretch things quite a bit if you had a VH.

"queefing"?? There is a name for it?? I call it vaginal farting... :-)

I've had that too kind of like a small air bubble or something I remember having this after my first child was born,it did stop after a while then so perhaps it's just temporary?I hope so...
