Yea! Good news

Posting good news here!!! My one lonely ovary is not sleeping or shocked. I am 3 weeks postop. My period would be due on Tues and today my face broke out and my breasts are getting tender, just like my lovely PMS before my TVH. I am not thrilled with the zits or sore boobs, but at least I have my own hormones for a while.

Yea! Good news

Congratulations Dianne! Isn't it funny how excited we can get over the strangest milestones after surgery! I know it is a relief for you to know that your ovaries are awake and working. I felt the same way. After a year, my PMS symptoms have really subsided a lot and some months, I don't even notice.

Best wishes and s, Deb

Yea! Good news

Who ever thought that zits or sore boobs would be occasion to celebrate but hoorah hoorah hoorah! I am so glad your heroic ovary is working! I just hope it can work without the zits and sore boos and just give you beautiful youthful skin, a wonderful glow and bigger but not sore boobs!

Yea! Good news

do you feel like your period symptoms were worse now? i ask because last week (3 weeks post op) my breasts started hurting...i couldnt stand to touch them!! my doc said that was the sign that my one ovary was working too. but wow it seemed so much worse now... a co-worker that got her hyst a year ago told me that her symptoms are worse now (cramping etc.) maybe thats normal??

Yea! Good news

I can't say yet if my breasts are more sore yet than before because I have a few days to go. The face breaking out is worse and I do have some cramping that has come back.
