Darn.....I've got wound separation

Went to the doctor today due to drainage from TAH incision. Unfortunately there is wound separation so she packed the open spots. Starting tomorrow a nurse will come to my house to change the gauze packing. I can't believe it. Otherwise my recovery has been perfect.......no pain, no constipation, etc. Dang. I'm trying to eat super healthy and will be better about activity. Does anyone have experience with this problem? Anything else I can do to speed healing?

did your doctor say why this happened? what could of caused it? sorry hon, you are going thru this, I can only imagine what you go thru

did he say how long it would take for it to close?

I'm sorry too! I have a fear of this happening but, have never had it happen before so I can't offer any suggestions but I hope it gets better fast!
