TAH on 11/21/05...Rectal Bleeding...

Hi, Sisters!! Happy New Year to everyone!!
I am here again because I am been experiencing some bleeding...didn't have the slightest idea as to where it's coming from, though. I've noticed this since about 4 weeks post-op. I went to my GYN, and he did a urine culture and hemocult, but they both were negative for blood. After putting "2 and 2 together", I realized that I bleed after having a B.M., and sexual intercouse (vaginal) with my hubby....went back to the doctor, and the urine and hemocult came back negative again. Today, I had a B.M.; and my toilet was bloody, tissue was again very bloody, and I AGAIN called my GYN...he referred me to a G.I. specialist who can't see me until 3/6/06...I don't feel comfortable waiting....has anyone else experienced this nastiness?!?!?!?!?!?

I had the same kind of syptoms burning bleeding and when I went for my 2week post op check is when I told them about it and by Dr said it was a fissure like a tear. I am still having problems so have been back to the dr again and now they tell me I have a small internal hemmorid and gave me some foam type stuff to use and this seems to be helping, but flares up every time I have a bowel movement so hanging in their. If mine dosen't get any better I am going to go and see the gi dr too.
