3.5 weeks post hysterectomy: Does granulation tissue always cause bleeding?

Hi Sisters!

I am 3.5 months post op from LAVH. I have been having pain during and after intercourse for a couple of weeks. Especially in certain positions. Also having trouble with back pain and still have swelly belly. I do not have any bleeding but seem to have a white discharge but no itching or odor. Can granulation tissue cause pain but not bleeding? I am making an appt. with my doctor soon because he said it is not normal to have pain like this at my stage of recovery.

Here is an article on Granulation Tissue. As you can see it causes a variety of symptoms, and bleeding is just one symptom. It may be that you have some granulation tissue that is causing the problem or it could be something else. Please keep us updated after you see you doctor.
