A New Day Has Dawned

The Hysterfit I had yesterday is dorment today, I am sure it will erupt again but how boring would we be if we didn't freak out now and again. Thank you to all my sisters for your help, and believe me it really does help venting and screaming and jumping up & down (ok it wasn't that bad).

Today I am writting lists, it is a bank holiday here in Ireland so no work today. Each member of my household is getting their list on what they need to do to keep this LIW from freaking out again. Just little lists but every little helps. I have always been very well and energetic so my brood were spoilt. Well now its my turn. As you can see I am back with a vengence.

Hugs to you all,

Marie

((((Marie))))

So glad you're feeling better. I agree with you 100%; this site and all my ((((Hystersisters)))) really kept me sane (well, as close as I could get to sane) before and after my surgery.

We're here for ya!

You Go Marie!!! Sounds like you have a very postive attitude and that will take you far....and whenever you're not feeling so positive you always have us to use as your sounding board. Wishing you all the best....today is my castle day and I too made many lists....even though I did not accomplish ALL THE THINGS on my lists, I made a promise to myself "not to freak out about it". So that last I made sure the *have to be done* list was checked off, but all the *nice to have done* things could wait if need be...Take care and sending you many hugs and friendship.

Marie,

I'm so glad this day finds you in better spirits!

When (if) another "freak out" hits, I hope you'll remember that there are many of us who are right there with you. It can be quite the rollercoaster ride.

I'm glad yours has smoothed out. One day at a time, dear sister.

You're going to do great!

Good grief, I can SO identify with you!

Yesterday afternoon this LIW freaked out over shovels being left out in the rain. My ds (17) and his friend (both I have "hired" to move a huge pile of garden soil, as I cannot do it as I usually can) left the shovels and wheelbarrows/carts they were using OUT for the third time! I finally decided I was freaking out over being unable to DO IT myself, and how helpless I feel. Am usually a very self sufficient outdoors, strong woman type...and being sick is not my "bag of tricks" - I do not do weak, defenseless, and sick very well and get frustrated so fast.

Apologized to ds about my freak out...he gave me big hug. He is 6'3" (1.9M) and it made be feel so "small", he said "It's OK, Mom, we all freak out now and again".

Great to hear from you

How lovely it was to hear from you all. Yes my attitude is much better today I am kicking butt, this place will be ship shape if it kills me & it probably will.

Attitude really is the key to overcoming this, so perhaps on my next freak out day (cos there will be one) you could all remind me, attitude girl!

Hugs,

Marie
