Jeans and a Belt: Seven weeks post op

Seven weeks post op. On Tuesday, I put on my stretchy black jeans. I had room around the tummy and waist, but I didn't dare put on a belt because I worried about it pressing on my stomach.

Today, I put on my non-stretchy blue jeans. Lots of room around the stomach and waist. I had to wear a belt. I actually was able to use several holes beyond the first one. I guess that huge uterus was stretching about my abdomen. I still have some swelling, especially that I can notice on the right side. And, I am getting more control over my abdominal muscles . . . I can actually suck them in without pain.

And the BEST news? I didn't have to unhitch the belt when I sat down. I guess the tenderness is slowly going away.

I'm jealous, I'm about 5lb heavier and my tummy is still suffering swelly belly which means jeans are still a bit of a no, have 1 pair of stretch ones I can wear but some lovely new ones that were nice and snug pre-op but won't fasten now.

Really happy for you, can't well till my time comes.
