Unfeeling DR Office?

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. It ***** to feel like the people you rely on for help don't care. I know that feeling.

Have you tried calling after hours?? Sometimes, if you call after hours and stress to the answering service that this is a serious situation that requires attention they will page the doctor. I have done it before and gotten succes. It is worth a try. I mean if they refuse you aren't any worse off than you are now, right? Try that and then keep calling. Be as polite as you can (which gets hard when you are in so much pain and when frustration levels are rising) and continue to request the refill. When you see your doctor next, be sure to speak to him about the difficulty you experienced and ask him how best to address such issues in the future should you need his assistance.

I sure hope you get a response soon. Perhaps you could have the pharmacy call him?? Sometimes that works, too. Good luck, hun. I know how hard it is to be in pain and not have anything to help take so much as the edge off it. s
