Tummy Bug - 8 days post op any experiences?

I was wondering if any of you have had a similar experience during your recovery.
Yesterday 8 days post op I had a tummy bug with vomiting and diarrhoea. The pain was horrible and today I have starting bleeding again. Its a light pink colour and only there when I wipe.

Do you think its possible I have strained something? My bowel motions were fierce and I couldn't control them

Re: Tummy Bug - 8 days post op any experiences?

I had a TAH and 10 days post op I got horribly sick and was sitting on the toilet with my head in a bucket. As I had vomiting and diarrhea at the same time. This lasted about two days and when I talked to the dr. she thought I either got a little bug or food poisoning.

Anyways, I had a slight increase in the bleeding and in pain but I just took it easy drank lots of propel (water wasn't hydrating me quick enough). Now I feel fine. *knock on wood* ;-)

If you think that you have strained something then go the dr.'s right away to make sure. :-)
