I know how you feel.....

I have had bad periods for years. It has gotten progressively worse over the last couple years and the last year has been almost constant pain. I know i have adeno and pretty sure I have endo though it has not been officially diagnosed. The pain varies but mostly sharp shooting pain in my sides and a lot of days it feels like a vice squeezing my pelvic area. My lower back hurts a lot too. I never associated my BM with the adeno/endo but after reading this thread, I do have problems with my BMs, especially during my period. The cramps with my period puts me to bed for a day or two. I'm having a LAVH/BSO on Thursday so hopefully this will all be a memory soon. Good Luck!

endo pain

Hello, thanks for the reply. I had a laparascopy 7 years ago and they found a cyst on my fallopian tube and ovary and endo implants. Had an implant on a ligament which is really painful and I feel I have the same thing back again. Waiting to hear from my gyno when my hysterectomy is. He says he cannot cure all the pain but I am hopeful that most of it will be gone after all my female organs are gone and the estrogen levels drop down. Hope so anyway,
Best wishes on your treatment and diagnosis. The sharp shooting pains are the worst aren't they?? So few people understand how it hurts.
