Having period???

I seem to be having a period. I started bleeding lightly and when i checked the calender, i would have been having a period! I still get my premenstrual headaches which i had last night and now i need to wear a lightdays. How can this be when i had my uterus and cervix taken???
Anyone else have this problem?

That sounds like a mystery to me! When hysterectomy patients keep their cervix, a "mini-period" is possible, but if you had your cervix removed, I have no idea why bleeding would occur.

I think a phone call to your medical provider might be in order. Please post back on this thread and let us know what he or she says.

I will call on Monday a.m.
My surgeon/Dr. only saw me 2 weeks post -op so i will call to see what could be happening. I have felt great other than this issue....

Is it red or brown blood? I wonder if he missed part of your cervix??? Man, I am baffled. Definitely let us know. Can you call your GYN office and get an on-call doc before Monday?

The spotting I had is completely gone so I am of no help. LOL
