15 wks Post LAVH - Vaginal Heaviness?

Don't know any other way to describe but heaviness in the vagina, especially after being up on my feet all day. No pain at all, just saggy feeling. Anyone else out there feel the same way. I guess I could still be healing some, but don't know. If it continues will have to contact MD. Doing Kegels as much as possible. Any input would be appreciated. tobasco39

Just to reassure yourself, you may want your doc to have a look see to make sure there is no vaginal vault prolapse. You could use a mirror to check and see if there is anything protruding.

I have also felt that heaviness, but the doc reassured me that is is just the swollen tissue and a normal sensation. I notice it more after I've been on my feet a while also. It takes quite a while to heal completely.

I had a prolapsed uterus before the surgery and felt more heaviness and the sensataion as if my girly bits might peek out and say hello unexpectedly. The uterine prolapse was observable from the vaginal opening (though it is not always that way).
