Update: Surgery Scheduled

Just an update... I met with my GYN and we have decided to do a TAH 8/30 due to the atypia. The two pathologists who read the biopsy both agreed that cancer could not be excluded. I choose the surgery rather than hormonal treatment because this is the third time and each time there is more atypia. Although my husband and I have no children there is always adoption.

Thanks for updating up on your decision. I'm sure it was not easy for you, but it sounds as though you have researched your options carefully and are making the choice that you feel most comfortable with.
