Pre and post op yeast question

Thanks everyone for the help, I appreciate it. And Aimee, no it wasn't TMI, I am glad you gave me the info. So many women don't talk about this problem because it is embarassing (and it is) but I think that by talking about it we can help each other find ways to feel better instead of suffering in silence. I will be asking about the dermitites and see what he thinks and whether we should test for it. Anything to make this itching GO AWAY. This is my longest yeast problem yet - the last longest was 5 months, and it will be 6 months for this one next week. The other long one just magically went away one day. Hopefully this one will follow that example!

I can call my PCP on Monday and see what she thinks. She is a close personal friend of my gyno, so maybe she could get ahold of him and ask. For now I am planning on stopping the yeast guard tonight, just to be sure I don't mess anything up.

I am glad to know others had post op yeast that they could take vaginal stuff for - I was worried I would have to go weeks post op with no yeast guard! UGH! So that makes me feel better - the yeast guard really does help control the symptoms, now if we could just make the yeast find a new home.

Thanks again for all the help - you have all been great and I appreciate it!
