survived the prep

Well, I survived the prep so far. I took the Fleet Phospho-soda stuff at 11:00. Oh my gosh, Blondie, you were not kidding about that stuff - NASTY! I fought for an hour to keep it from coming back up and ultimately lost the battle. Seems enough made it through the system though, b/c I still had about 30 straight minutes in the bathroom after I was done throwing up. Fortunately, I was feeling much better by 1:30, so I did go ahead an make the meeting I'd agreed to. Felt fine while I was there. As soon as I got home I was right back in the bathroom though. It's like Robinsprincess said - anything I drink seems to come right back out the other end! I had to take two Ducolax pills at 4 p.m. too, but I can't imagine anything is left for those to work on, so I hope I don't get terrible cramps from it. I'm going to try to keep drinking so they have a vein or two to put the IV in tomorrow.

Can't believe it's finally that time. I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep a wink tonight.

Survived the bowel prep

sisternow,
I'm glad you were able to keep enough down to do the job, good luck with the rest of your prep stuff! (((hugs)))

I hope you have a short stay at the castle and a complete and problem free recovery!

Survived the bowel prep

You are so lucky, as I was, not to have to drink a lot of prep. You will be able to have ice to suck on eventually, but no gum or water. You will do it....If I did you will, I was so so so scared....
