Stress tests

They can now do stress tests on the heart by using a drug instead of making you do the wonderful treadmill. My mom had that type of stress test done when she was weak and had difficulty walking any distance. We laughed when they said she needed a stress test.

mlp in FL, You Go Girl!!!!

Glad everything is looking up and that you have the green light.

Everything will get better from here.

Just remember all your "sisters" will be praying for you.

Say a little prayer for me too cause I'm going to the castle at 6:30 a.m Friday morning.

stress tests

Dear DieNarrin

I had that same stress test done. I had both knees replaced last year and I have asthma. My surgeon wanted me to have what he called a non-stress test. (The kind where you don't get on the treadmill).

I joked with him and asked if a non stress test was a "written test" ... LOL

I guess you had to be there but it did get a pretty good chuckle out of the nurses.

Have a good day or night whichever it happens to be where you are.

Linda,

Wonderful news! I'm so glad to hear that your hemoglobin came up with your transfusions. Now take good care of yourself and let us know how you are doing after your castle visit! My prayers are with you.

I'm baaaaaack!

Hello my sisters,

I'm back from the hospital and I'm up and about. I can't say I'm up and running....but I could keep pace with a snail right now!

So...I am no longer 'pre-op'......and I'll meet you ladies over on the flip-side, 'post-op' in a few days.

Hugs to all of you,

~Linda~

Welcome Back Linda!

I was just thinking about you today and wondering how your coronation went...well, I hope!

How is your hemoglobin? Did you need any more transfusions?

Get lots of rest, eat well, drink your water and take good care of yourself! I hope you feel a little stronger every day.
