How come you have a lifetime weight restriction of 25 lbs?

PS Yes, I had a pot belly for about two years from my pet fibroid!

I also have a HUGE belly! I look like I am 3 -4 months pregnant, and someone even mentioned that I looked pregnant yesterday. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! I was reading somewhere that the weight limit is due to all of the prolapsed organs. This may not be the correct reason though!

Arly3, The 25 Lb Weight Restriction Is Due To All The Prolapsed Organs, Kinda Like After Hernia Surgery. This Will Effect My Job. I Have A Pretty Good Handle On Staying In Today (one Day At A Time ) As I'm A Detox Nurse In Very Large Detox With A Dual Unit , Womens Unit And Adolescent Unit Not Including The 40 Beds For Very Sick Detoxing Pt. Moondancer - with all the experience you have, I am sure there will always be something for you to do, especially in that specialized an area...something that doesn't involve lifting!

You are a brave and amazing lady to do that kind of work, and it only makes sense that there will always be a place for you.

Maybe this is a good time to look around at what other jobs are available for you. Don't quit or anything...just do some homework. Maybe your supervisor is someone you can talk to about this?

there is not always someone to lift and turn like at the hospital but there and some who are medicated to avoid withdrawl that may have difficulty walking, at risk for seizures or falls. many have lots of med problems due to there abuse. i love my job and hope that i do not have to find a different job. my husband says i'm just mean enough to be very good at my job..ha!ha!.... i relate well to this kind of pt, due to having family members who have had d/a problems. i've done this type of work for 8 years.i thank you all for your advise this web site is alot of help. moondancer

Is anybody else bloated asymetrically? I swear when I look down I'm fuller on the right side than the left. Its consistant with most of the pain I experience being on the right side too.

I had a lot of bloating, I was starting to look pregnant. I don't think it was really asymmetric. Turned out it was a massive ovarian cyst. No wonder my pants stopped fitting!

Ladies,I hear yah, I FEEEEEEEEEL yah...lol! I have the bloat or whatever you want to call it and definitely look heavier than on an average day. All my pants are snug around the waist, my jeans havent fit in months, I'm running out of creative wardrobe ideas and am so thankful that the university semester is about to end in a few days. I can start living in my sweats 24/7-tho even those seem a bit to snug of late too.

Thank God I am having ab myome ctomy in 12 days. Question: Does the bloated stomach/protruding tush return to the normal good ole days?
