Last minute no hyst 4 me....

As I was in the pre-op room yesturday awaiting my hysterectomy sergury, the Dr came in and said he changed his mind, that this sergury was not correct for my problems. He went in and did just the cone procedure, where he took part of my cervic out. They will do more tests on that then decide if we need more sergury or not. It all started by possible canereous cells on cervic! Now what? Does anyone know what this means.....
chronic inversion of uterus? Lord a 15 minute sergury made me sore all over my tummy and my throat hurts fromt hat dang tube (still spitting up blood from throat...yuck).

I had pre cancerous cell on my cervix 3 times. They did the cone biopsy and it turned out to be no big thing. There are several things that can make the results positive when there is nothing to worry about. Having the biopsy is a good thing. Think positive !! You will be sore cause I was. Should be better tomarrow. I'll pray that everything works out for you. God bless !!

Thank you for your response and keeping me in your prayers. I too hope nothing will come from this. CAn you believe this really all started due to medication I was taking for the past year to help with my bi-polar. It made me not have periods yet bleed during sex. Sot he Dr went in and did 2 paps both of which came back very abnormal and that lead to the 1st biopsy and now to this one. I am however thankful that i will be up and moving around well for the holidays, which if I would have had the hyst I may not have been able to do the normal things. Thanks again.

Ok so let me see if I understand, it looks like you still had to have a hyst after all you been through, is this right? If so, why did they decide to go through with a hyst? Drs tell me we still might have to have the hyst done, depends on the cone procedures findings. Will know something in 2 weeks, so they say! Another 2 weeks worring.
