Hot flashes, anyone?

OK...call me weird, but I actually got excited last night while experiencing my very first hot flash! My husband was cracking up. We were laying in bed watching TV and it hit out of nowhere! I was like "OMG, OMG...I'm having a hot flash!!!!" He definitely thought I was losing my mind that it made me that happy. I am 10 days out today, and feeling great! HRT starts Oct 29th, so until then, I will keep the cold compress handy!

Well that's a different way of looking at them. I don't enjoy them at all. My first one was a doozy - 20 minutes standing in front of the fan, stripped down. Horrible. The rest haven't been that bad.
