STILL bleeding?????

I posted a week ago about rectal bleeding and after going to the doctor, was told it was IBS and scheduled a colonoscopy. Now it's still happening after i "go" and it's bright red. I wipe and wipe and its still bleeding. This makes me uneasy. How normal is this??? I don't want to keep calling my doctor's office, but I'm concerned. if they told me its nothing, should I just deal with it?

STILL bleeding?????

Hi,
It sure sounds like it has got to be something not far into the colon since it is bright red and it just keeps bleeding. They were sure no hemmroids or fissures in the colon?? Keep us updated ok??? Tiffany

Still bleeding???

I am sorry you are still having problems. However, I am very glad you are going in for a colonoscopy. It has been too long and it will make you feel better to find out what is going on. Not knowing and the thoughts that we put into our heads can be worse the what is really going on. Can you get the colonoscopy moved any closer? It might only be hemmoriods (sp?) Good luck on your test. Bev
