where does it end!!!

i'm due full hyst in about 6 months,taking the lot,cervix,womb,ovaries,tubes,you name it they want it,plus having ant and pst repair.i've had gynae ops before so not too worried but i want to know where does it end,as in if their talking it all,where will what used to be my cervix finish????or will i have a continual hole from my vagina to my brain lol thanx andrea xx

I think they stitch the vagina closed where they cut off the cervix. That is then called the vaginal cuff and it should all end there.

Thanks Kay M i myself also had a look at the pre-op articles. I scrolled down to the "kinds of hysterectomy surgeries" and it is very informative. Andiacc hopefully all your questions will end at these pre-op articles. We dont want you to worry for 6 months thinking you are going to have this big hole now do we.....lol.
