Post op starting week 3

Hi; yes I'm taking it easy. It's hard to relax but healing is in relaxing and a little walking. Don't take too much medication says my doctor (800ml) was for pain & so that I feel no pain. Bad idea; so on day 13 & 14 no pain medication. However as I feel pain I get quiet say ouch and do breathing exercises. Like today I did not have a bm; just passing gas pains all day. Pray for me cause from day one I have pain during BM although soft. So I will see on day 15 what happens. Still walking slow fear of pain & can feel pressure on back; almost straight.

the first couple of weeks are so hard and even walking the least is the worst. as well as the gas pains. im sorry you are having a hard time, this too will get easier! i will keep you in my prayers.. let us know how you are doing!

Week 3 I need to read next steps

Thanks to everyone that are sharing. I'm on day 15. Other than walking what else can I do? I must read some more. My BM still hurts I'm not constipated it just hurt coming through its like gas is present @ the same time. When I sneeze it hurts. Drinking water is hard for me but I'm trying to push (4) 16oz a day. I'm taking medication for bladder cause day 12 I could not urinate that is better; still taking meds for 7 days. Best wishes to all.
