dVH/RALH Unsure

I am now one week post op! Had hysterectomy and pelvic floor repairs so surgery was 3 1/2 hours.
My doc didn't leave medication instructions with the nurses so I've had to figure that out on my own a bit, and have struggled. But I'm starting to not need as much pain meds.
Also, the nurses at the hospital kept saying I only needed to worry about 4 scars from the DaVinci assisted surgery. But since being home I've found a total of 7 scars including a episiotomy like incision. When I called my doctors office to ask if I should do anything special with that (ie duroplast or water bottle rinses) they were unaware of it, said they'd talk with the doctor and never called me back. Any advice there?
I have 5 kids at home, the youngest being a set of 2 year old twins. My hubby has been making me stay in bed, but its frustrating to hear how much my kids need me and not get up to help them.
Also, my doc left vaginal packing inside me after the surgery. She realized this the day after and had to remove it. She pulled at least 4 ft of bloody bandaging from me which was excruciatingly painful. Made it sound like it was a mistake, but not a big deal. Has that happened to anyone before?

my vaginal packing was taken out prior to the cathiotor coming out. How did they leave it in and get the cathitor out? hmm. Yes, it coming out was painful.

Not sure... But it was painful.
Good to hear that's happened before. Makes me feel not as bad.
