insurance denied!!!!

First they approved my surgery over the phone with my surgeon. Then yesterday they denied it! My surgery was scheduled for Friday. How can they do this? I'm so upset.

Take a deep breath. I know that this is upsetting and very frustrating. I went through the same thing before my surgery. Between calls from me and my doctor resubmitting the request, it got handled.
Call your insurance company and find out why it was denied. If you don't get the right response from who you talk to, ask to speak with a supervisor. Also speak with your doctor's office. They come up against this type of thing all of the time. They can also speak with your insurance company.

It is very frustrating dealing with insurance companies. Hang in there, it will get worked out.

What? How can they deny it? Someone put a wrong code in somewhere. I agree, call the insurance company, and your doctor. Hoping you get it straightened out quickly.

Dr is having a conference call with insurance today. Pray for me! Pray they approve!
