six months post op...and possible endo's back!!

Hello,
I am about six months post op and now having pelvic pain AGAIN! I left my ovaries and for the past three weeks I have been having pain. I saw my doctor today and she said she didnt feel any cysts so she suggested going on b/c (yazmin). I am so depressed and frusterated about this. After finally deciding to have a hyster and then recovering...feeling better and now I feel like I am back to where I started. Is there anyone else who has had there endo come back after? If so what did you do?

Thanks,
Wendy

I am sorry you are having some problems and pain. Is it possible it is adhesions maybe? Are you taking any hrt or herbs that may feed the endo?

Here is a link to a thread with some info and helpful links others share:

https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/sho...=endometriosis

To read more on endo here, just do a Search ( right hand corner at the top of page)and other threads will come up, you can narrow it down if you want it from a particular forum like Post-op or the Road.

I hope your endo has not come back and your help from your dr will get you some answers and relief.

Well I did the same thing, had a hyst back in 2000, kept my ovaries and just had them out friday. I had adhesions and scare tissue. I think you will like the Yasmin, I was on that for a while. best of luck

Yes, sometimes endo can come back if there are any remnants and enough estrogen to feed it. It is harder for it to come back without ovaries and no hrt.

I understand that diet may help as well, according to some information I have read.

Thank you! I didn't know and that will influence my decision on whether to be on HRT or not. I have no symptoms yet, and my doc has not mentioned it. Janet
