Soy

I want to be ready for my april TAH-BSO and the hormonal loss. Do any of you take soy for menopausal symptoms? There is an article on this web site, and I've also been researching it.

Soy

I've been taking soy for a long time now. I do get hot flashes, but they don't seem to be as severe as a lot of people get them. I take soy in a menopause supplement made by CVS and also in my calcium supplement.

Soy

Thanks Cathy, Thaat's good to know. Would you say it has a similar effect to HRT? Good luck with your surgery tomorrow!

Soy

Hard to say, as I have not tried HRT. Actually, I would say St. Johns Wort has helped me more with depression, emotional distress, etc., than soy has. I have had to stop the St. Johns Wort as a pre-op preparation, and YES I surely DO see a difference! I know my husband can't wait til I can start it up again, lol.
