anyone with this problem????

i had my surgery last july. before my surgery i had never had a yeast infection. i got one right after and i thought it was from all the antibiotics. ever since then though i have been getting them every 2 months on the dot. the last time (my 3rd one) i went to the dr. to make sure that's what it was and she did a culture. that's what it was, but now here i am 2 months later with another one and i just don't understand it. i never had one until this and now i have had 4 in such a short time. any ideas?????

Believe it or not I have heard that this is normal. Because of the changes in your body. Althought I'm completely the opposite of what you are describing. It was a given prior to my TAH that if I was prescribed an antibotic, a yeast infection medicine (either dyflucan or creme) was also prescribed. I got a sinus infection 4 weeks post op and forgot to request dyflucan....but I didn't get a yeast infection!

If you like youghurt, I suggest eating more it helps with yeast infections.

Hope this help!
