Pain in ovaries
Hi everyone!
I had my TLH on April 30 and today I've been having pain in my ovary area. Has anyone else had this? Also feels like menstrual cramps too??
Thanks!

Re: Pain in ovaries
I had my hysterectomy on March 4th, and I have ovary pain every once in a while. In fact today it was pretty intense. And I get menstrual pains too.

Re: Pain in ovaries
I think it's normal to experience menstrual symptoms even though you won't actually have a period. I'm not there yet but I've heard several complaints of still having the symptoms post hysterectomy.

Re: Pain in ovaries
If ovaries are still intact it is totally normal to still experience period symptoms. I have a small cyst on my one ovary and it has given me a bit of hassle here and there but nothing like the pain I had before I also had my tubes removed and it did take a bit for my ovaries to 'wake up' again... Had a small glimpse at what menopause will be
Hang in there everyday you will start feeling better and better as your body adjusts to its new self
