Incident after TAH...advice needed

i am 4 days post op after TAH. Today i got hit full force with someones head in my stomach over my incision site. It hurt bad at the time but doesnt hurt me anymore. I believe my abdomen is slightly swollen but think its due to the operation. Is it something that i should be worried about? I had to move out of town the day i got out of the hospital so do not have a dr to call that can see me so i would have to go to the ER and dont want to do that unless i really have to.

Re: Incident after TAH...advice needed

Well I guess if there's no pain or anything wrong you can see or feel, its hard to know. What I would do is call your old Dr, explain what happened, and get detailed advice on when or if to go to the ER. Who will you see for post op care? Someone new? Whoever that is, might see you. But mainly I'd call and they should advise you since they are still resonsible for you postop.
