Re: the countdown nerves!

nerve calming... read a bit more, clean, prepare the house, last minute shopping, and make list so your helpers know where everything is and how to do things!

...my lists are still taped up all over the house, barn, garage.. lol!

Re: the countdown nerves!

8 days to go ... shopping, bag packing, net surfing, writing a paper (not well!), talking with DH and grieving the loss of the 'secret place' where my children were 'knit'.
cheers

Re: the countdown nerves!

I'm in the home stretch. By this time tomorrow I should be in surgery. I've had butterflies for weeks. It's the pits waiting!

Re: the countdown nerves!

Waiting is the worst part. Try and stay busy. Go out and enjoy things you like to do. I am six weeks post op and can tell you the before part is harder emotionally than the recovery.
Exercise, dancing, shopping, intimate with hubby, clean your room ect.
Just stay busy and it will be here before you know it.
Good luck and best wishes.

Re: the countdown nerves!

6 days for me. I'm a wreck. So much to do. I think I will be doing a lot of house cleaning monday. I wanted to vaccumm at 10 pm last night, because I couldn't stand the living room floor. My husband just laughed and said he would help me clean the house monday. I go in tuesday for LAVH. I never been so worked up before a surgery before.

Re: the countdown nerves!

I get to do my bowel prep tomorrow and hopefully I can get a bunch of stuff done - going to run myself ragged so that I can get myself to sleep at a decent hour since I have to get up at 4am on Friday to get ready and be at the hospital by 5:40am. I have my bag packed except for my Netbook and I am thinking maybe putting some snacky things into my bag for my boyfriend so he has something to snack on while he waits.

I am so impatient, I so badly want it to be Friday morning right now. Either my anxiety meds are working for me or I am just very relaxed right now.

Hugs everyone, almost there!!!!!!
