4 weeks out horrible hip pain??

Anyone else experiencing this? It has become exhausting.

I had a little bit of hip pain and even being six weeks out I went for a walk today and had it into my right hip. I would call the doctor hon. Maybe they can help you with the pain. *good luck and big hugs *

Have you talked to your doctor about it? It might be a result of the position you were in during surgery or you may have some nerve damage do to something during the surgery and you might need further treatment. Please keep us posted.

I had hip pain but noticed that it was going away the more I walked. Strange pains everywhere and I am thinking that it was from not walking as much the first couple of weeks.

My hip pain was so bad after surgery, I stayed in the hospital am extra night. I sure hope mine doesn't get bad again. I am two weeks out and it is much better. Still sore , but better!

Hi! I am heading into my 4th week post op from a STAH. I am currently experiencing the same pain on my right. Sometimes it can get quite horrendous! It usually starts on my pubic bone and will shoot up around my hip. My doctor has told me that there is a very large ligament that is in that area which is strained.

I went to the Dr. He said I have Sciatica. I guess I can live with that. I am not a big fan of yoga, but think when I feel up to it, I am going to by a dvd specifically for it. Thanks for replying.

The day after surgery my dr came in prior to releasing me, I had the same problem complaining of my hip hurting. My dr said it was due to the hours in the stirrups during my TVH. I feel better now, 1 week post op
