DaVinci Sisters-Where was your Belly Button Incision?

I know...I shouldnt be worried about the scars. But I am. Since I tend to Keloid. Not only does a Keloid look icky. They hurt.

Not that Placement will help how the scars feel.

But I would like to know where your Belly Button Incision was.
My Dr said it will be above my Belly button like about 1.5"
I sure would rather have it below my Belly Button.
Where were all of yours?

I have 5 one-inch incisions. Only the very top one is above my belly-button and make like a little arrow pointing up. I'm not sure if it would change depending on the size and placement of your uterus. I had a huge fibroid, so maybe mine sites were higher because of the size of the fibroid. I also had my right ovary removed because it was fused with the fibroid, so maybe that's why the extra incision. They are all pretty small, and every assures me they will fade. I'm not really worried -- I don't wear a bikini anymore. lol. I'm more of a "tank-kini" kind of gal.

My belly button incision is onthe top rim of my belly button. I can't see it looking down. I think the scar will be minimal.

I too have 5 incisions. The one above my belly button is vertical and ends perhaps 1" above it. BTW I have three on the left of it, and one to the right. So far, they don't bother me. I'm using Vitamin E per Dr's recommendation.

Mine is about 2 inches above my belly button. They all are about an inch in length. Good luck to you

The top incision (from what I've read and seen) is always above the belly button. It is the one where the cameras are inserted so I think that is what "requires" it to be above the belly button. The other 4 will depend on what they are removing and the measurements of your abdomen (they do measurements to figure out where to position them so everybodys are just a little bit different location).

I used the mederma creme as soon as the DR said I could and things are healing really, really well.
