Post-op sex concerns ~ spotting

hey ladies not to get off sub. but just last week i found myself feeling very sexual and after i was all wet and everything i startined spotting what's with that? I just had my surgery 12/27/2007!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry you've experienced this ~ have you had clearance from your doctor to resume sexual activity as you're less than a month post-op? Most ladies have to wait six weeks before clearance and some even longer.

Other ladies have reported spotting following their first post-op sexual intimacy and I hope they'll be along soon to share. In the meantime, however, it would be wise to check with your doctor before trying again.

I had tah/bso, and was 'released' for sex at 6 weeks... yikes, that IS early for you, but I guess it depends on which type of surgery you had. Yes, I, too, spotted, and it didn't actually work I now have cream to heal faster and help me.

after my check up with speculum/internal i have had spotting now i am 4 weeks out never spotted ,,i called before the weekend got here just to ask and they said it was residual residue and was caused from my exam ,,so i am sure i will do it in a couple weeks when i am allowed to have sex,,,
