I had that as well. It was very odd and extremely concerning. The swelling did clear on its own, however the cramping and pain turned out to be ovarian issues that ended with their removal a few years later (that was a bummer).

Take it easy and hopefully it is just one of those odd recovery things.

Hi Boo,
I had the vaginal ultrasound. Everything looks great. That is good but it does not explain my pain. He also did an internal exam and he sd the vaginal cuff felt good. I was hoping he would find embedded stiches to explain the cramping. I am going to have the incisional hernia repaired by a general surgeon and then at the same time the gyno is going to go in and look around with a laporscope (sp?). He sd that sometimes the bowels adhere to the scarring. Not looking forward to this one bit but at least I may find some answers. I feel like a nervous wreck again like b-4 the hyst surgery. UHGGGGG! I hope you are feeling better.

Boolea,
Just checking in to see how you are doing. I had my hernia repair on 9/22. At the same time my gyno did a lap surgery to take a look around. They found many adhesions and I actually got my surgical report in the mail today. Adhesions to my colon, vaginal vault, belly button and a ligament that holds up the vaginal vault. Please let me know how you are doing.
