Nervous about first Orgasm; two weeks post-op

A little over two weeks ago, I had a robotic-assisted lap hysterectomy, my cervix and ovaries remain. My surgeon has given me the OK for both masturbation and sex, however, I'm nervous every time I try because things feel so different! I know this is a totally personal question/topic, and I've read on here that things will eventually be fine and, perhaps, better than before. But, for now, any advice on how to relax during sex and get out of my mind?!!

It does feel different without a uterus doesn't it? I had a TAH so I don't get cleared as soon as you. My doctor recommended lots of foreplay to help relax and lot and lots of lube. She also recommended that I be on top so I could be in more control. I haven't been cleared for intercourse yet, I have to wait eight weeks but the, ah hem, stimulation and satisfaction was amazing once I was able to relax enough to enjoy. Just take your time. It will be fine.

I was cleared for intercourse last week and have yet to try, but I will tell you I have achieved orgasm on my own and find that they are still satisfying and intense. I wanted to make sure things still worked before we gave it a go. I am thinking we might try tonight. Perhaps you should try alone, don't put pressure on yourself. Maybe a glass of wine or something to ease your mind. Best of luck!
