TAH Staples Off Today! But Incision Is Crooked!

Bless God I had my staples taken out today!



The problem is - instead of the two sides being lined up perfectly, they overlap a bit. What I mean is - there is a place where one side sticks up past the other and you can see the MEAT of my belly! Is this going to heal right, or will I have a squared off scar?

I had the same thing. Mine has "flattened" out a bit since my staples came out June 14th. It will take time. Lol, I call mine a tummy tuck.

Mines still puffy above the cut but it feels like fluid. I've had 3 ceasarians by 2 different doctors and the Dr I had for one of my children and this hysterectomy is the best of the best at one of Australia's best hospitals, and even his wasn't completely flat. I don't think they can get it completely flat.

It will flatten out over time and will be nice and smooth.. If it makes u feel better my 14 cm incision looks like a Nike tick! The dr said the uterus was a little larger than expected...lol

Mine is a squiggly 'S' curve. I'm not concerned about that. I'm concerned about where one side of the flesh sticks up above the other side...

I think mine wins the world's record. Was yours any bigger than 7 pounds 6 ounces?
My doctor had to cut around my belly button and as for the gap, it looks more like 1/16th now.
