New to the boards!

Hi there.
I happened to come across this great place in my voyage last night, and I have to say, I was captivated and the forums kept my attention into the wee hours of the morning. I was pretty apprehensive to post before, as hysterectomy wasn't a "definite," but today, I am thrilled to say it is, and I now want to come out of hiding and say HELLO!!! ;-) I will post more later to introduce myself, but for now I wanted to just say that this is a great place and I can tell it's a very warm and safe place to come.
I look forward to getting to know you all more.

Happy 2003!
All the best,
Christine

*Pending surgery date, but actually looking forward to it!!!*

New to the boards!

Hello Christine Welcome
You are not alone. I too found this site after doing some research and I am so happy I did. I have made several new friends and the ladies on this site helped me with my fears and offered much support, something I needed, and I don't think I could have done it without all my sisters. Somedays I felt like I was in the twilght zone and I would come here for advise but most of all support. There is always someone willing to help, these ladies are all angels.
Don't forget to post your castle date on the calander.
Take care
Nicole

New to the boards!

Christine,

Welcome to Hystersisters!

This is a great site with a lot of good info. You will find many knowledgable, caring, sharing women here. They helped answer my questions & put my mind at ease when I was told I had to have a hyst.

Please be sure and add your surgery date to your profile. Sometimes it helps to connect with others who have the same surgery date as you.

Glad you decided to come *on board* - read & post as much as you can. No question is silly & there isn't anything we haven't talked about here!

Best wishes to you!

Welcome

Glad you found this site.

It was a Godsend to me last year while I was in waiting. I learned so much and got so much support from the ladies here.

I'm also from central Florida. If there is anything I can do just let me know.
