Breathing Tube ???

Don't worry! Everything will be fine, you may have a scratchy throat for a few days, but that is nothing that a little tea can't fix! Good luck and keep us posted on your recovery.

I had gone through two other surgeries before I ever found out about the breathing tube. Really the only reason I even found out was because after my third surgery, I had a horrible sore throat and had a cut in the back of my mouth. my Dr told me that was probably from the breathing tube being inserted improperly (it was a university hospital), but it healed fine. I think you will probably not even have any indication of a breathing tube.

My Daughter is a Physican's Assistant specializing in surgery. When she told me I'd had intubation with a prior surgery I thought she was kidding - I'd had no idea I'd even had it. She said Anesthesiologists are very well trained, and since our procedure is a scheduled one, there is no rushing - it's part of what they specialize in and do every day.
Hearing that calmed me quite a bit. I hope it does the same for you!
