Re: daVinci surgery ~ any tips?

I had my Da Vinci surgery 4.5 weeks ago and I'm feeling great! I have no regrets that I had this done. Although I'm still recovering, it gets better ever day. I went back to work after 3 weeks and I'm planning on resuming a light exercise routine at week 6.

My advice to you is take it easy, don't lift anything. During the first couple of weeks, there will be days you feel great and you'll want to get out and do stuff. Then, there will be days you feel tired. Don't be fooled. Just take it easy and don't do too much. I'm still "milking it" and have my husband helping out with housework.

Re: daVinci surgery ~ any tips?

I had my daVinci on Nov.8. It went well, although I needed a second surgery to correct some extra bleeding. I went home in two days. I have a drainage tube in, but today there is nothing in it. I have a low tolerance for pain, so, I'm still taking my pain meds. I'm a substitute teacher and I'm planning on making myself available on Dec 8, which will be 4 weeks post op
