feb 3rd is the projected date
so much is going through my mind, to start off I'm only 25 and I have no children, so it's a hard decision I had to make but the doctor said that the cervical cancer is non invasive right now but I have a high chance of it becoming invasive. My health is my number one priority. I had a ckc and dnc just last month, but the doc told me that they found more and because of the type of cancer it is they can not be sure there isn't some they don't know about. The doctor said I had to have enough time to heal from that prodecure first but they want the hysterectomy done asap. I don't have health insurance so I have had to go through a charity, which doesn't cover all of the hysterectomy so now I am trying to jump through more hoops getting help from a second program all in time for the projected date feb 3 that they have me scheduled for surgery. My mind goes blank when the doctor asks do you have any questions, and by being on here I have realized I have lots of questions. I decided I would search and find out more about a hysterectomy, which I do know I am having a complete one. But I didn't know about the menopause and other stuff. I just pray that my surgery goes well, and I can get my life back on the right track once everything is over with. I am scared but I've been through six other surgeries before, things will get better.
