Moody...is this normal or I am being silly?
Hi Sisters,
I am currently waiting for a call for a surgery date. Dr. tells me anywhere between 2-4 months. It's been a month already.
My issue is that I feel like I am not myself at all!! Even my girls at the office have noticed! I had an argument with my DH last night all because I was home by myself and wanted him to come home- for what I don't know...just didn't want to be alone. I LOVE an empty house normally!! lol
I have lot's to do before my surgery and am trying to get it done....I am manager of a large insurance branch and it is budget time-ugh. I have to get all my gals prepared for when I'm off. I'm trying to plan Branch meetings so that I can get my Business Plan done before my surgery, get the budgets in, get my desk cleared and plan for 2014. Maybe it would be easier if I just had a surgery date so that I knew how much time I have...lol Once I get the call I will be on the table within that week so not much time...
I think just being able to write this all out I may have answered my own question about my emotions!!
Thanks for listening gals....

Re: Moody...is this normal or I am being silly?
I was overly stressed as well. You feel like your entire life is on hold until you have a date and it feels better once you have one because then you can at least plan for things about 6 weeks afterwards. Not only that but when you have other people that depend on you, you need to know how to plan. I work at a hospital in an area where there aren't a lot of people to help cover me, not to mention, I run catering on the side. I completely understand the stress of waiting just so I knew how to plan. I also am a "Type A" person... So that doesn't help either ;-)
Just a suggestion, I would maybe give your doctor a call and check on the status of your surgery scheduling. Sometimes, even doctor's offices need gentle reminders. Just be pleasant when you call.
Good luck!

Thanks Sunshinebc79!!
You are absolutely right...it is soo hard to plan when you don't have a date...I think I will call the Dr office today...even a general guess on their part would allow me to plan a little more....
Had a good cry with my DH this morning and tryed to explain how I am feeling to him a little so he understands....poor guy...lol Boy oh boy will I ever be glad to get this all done and over with!! I am NOT an emotional person normally so this is quite the challenge!!! haha

Re: Moody...is this normal or I am being silly?
I totally get it. I was an emotional mess and when I finally did get my date it was within 2 weeks. I was in a whirlwind!!! Then the nerves got me and I became scared (although I sure wasn't backing out of it) and I was emotional... Now I'm emotional because I'm so independent and now I have to ask for help while healing...
I have good news though, it'll all be better soon!!!
