Home from the castle

Hi sisters, I got home from the hospital yesterday. I ended up having to have a TAH instead of an LAVH so plans had to change a little. Doing good so far, husband is pampering me so much and kids too. will keep informed of recovery thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Hey Kim

Glad all went well. By royal decree you are relegated to bed for rest, recovery and continued pampering

Hugs and prayers for continued speedy recovery

Make sure they keep up that pampering and adjust for the extra re-coop time!

You're over the top of the mountain now and the recovery begins! It can be as good or bad as you make it... meaning don't over do it and let your body and soul rest! You'll know when you are up to taking on a few little tasks. Until then, push fluids, take stool softeners and make the recliner your new best friend! Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Hey Kim - Welcome Home - Take good care of yourself! Each day gets a little bit better. I'm four months post-op already - where does the time go? Hallie

Welcome to the other side, Kim. Let the recovery period begin. I pray for you an uneventful recovery. Hang in there and remember to pamper the princess and let others do too..which it sounds like they are

Good luck to you!!! Keep the chin up and soon you'll be recovered!

Welcome home! Be sure to let them do as much as possible for you. The less you do now, the better healed you will be. Take it from those of us who have *ahem* done too much too soon. Not that I am in that group or anything...really....
Enjoy the pampering and get lots and lots of rest.
